I cant believe October has already come and gone! At the first of the month we went with Kaela, my dad, and Betty to Cambria, California for a family reunion. It was really fun to visit with family and meet new people:) One of the best parts though was the beach. It was Bridger's first time seeing the ocean and he loved it! Every morning while the rest of the family was still asleep, we would bundle up ( it was pretty cold there) and go for a walk on the beach. It was so peaceful and beautiful. While we were there we also visited Hurst Castle... amazing! I loved being able to take a break with my family. Halloween was pretty low key but it was fun. We dressed Bridger up as an oatmeal bear (whatever that is) and took him trick-or-treating. He was so cute and would pick the candy out of the bowl. October was a great month (minus all the illness we went through) and I am looking forward to experiencing the holiday season as a mom:)

Back to School and so Much More
Well it has been quite a while since my last post so I will give ya the watered down version of the craziness that is our lives. Bridger and I moved down to St. George at the end of August so I could finish up school. We live with a friend who is also in the nursing program with me- Mandy- and it is great. She is so much fun to live with and helps out a ton with Bridger! School is going pretty well so far. The only bad thing is I'm a month in and already have zero motivation to study... I'll just blame it on the fact that I'd rather play with my child:) Speaking of Bridger, he has adjusted really well to being in a new place, and continues to grow like a weed:) He has 6 teeth now, and is doing this really funny scoot/crawl thing. He is also pulling himself up on furniture which scares me to death because he is still so unstable on his feet. Life can be pretty crazy around here but we love it!

Short and Sweet
So its been a while since I last posted, but we really haven't been up to much. We are staying with my sis Kaela for the summer and are enjoying every moment of the break before heading back to St. George for school. Bridger is growing like a weed- although he's much cuter! He is sitting up by himself now and working on tooth number four:) Six months goes by so fast and I sometimes wish I could just push the pause button!

Just What the Doctor Ordered
This past weekend my mom and sister came down to St. George to take Devon and my engagement pictures. They were kind enough to leave at 3 AM so they could be here in time to take the baby while I was in class. Bridger and Mikaela had quite an eventfull morning:) He decided to make her feel more at home by puking on her several times and also by producing enough poop to make anyone feel slightly unhinged... thats my boy:)Mikaela was also sweet enough to take Bridger all night on friday so I could get some sleep. I almost forgot what it feels like to get a full 8 hours! It was so nice to have my family in town. It really was just what the doctor ordered! I haven't laughed as hard as I did this weekend in a really long time. If I had it my way they would live next door:)

Our little Bridger was born January 8, 2009. He was born at 7:11 a.m. weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz, and 20 inches long. He has been such a joy in our lives, and seems to change everyday. I have been so busy with school and late night feedings but I love being a mom! I will try to post more often once finals are over.
